Moving from ITIL 4 or ITIL v3

You hold ITIL 4 Foundation

You do not need to retake Foundation to move into ITIL (Version 5) advanced modules. A one-day Foundation Bridge (30-minute exam, changes-only focus) is also available.

Exam & preparation

Certification and what to expect

The Foundation exam is closed-book and multiple-choice.
Certificates carry a 3-year renew-by date. Renew through CPD via PeopleCert Plus, another ITIL certification, or retaking the same certification.
An official sample exam (or sample questions) will be provided during the course, where available.
Additional exam delivery and voucher details will be confirmed when you register.

Online sessions are delivered through Adobe Connect.
You’ll need a fast, reliable internet connection and a headset with microphone.
All sessions are mandatory.
Preparation instructions and any required pre-work will be provided before the course.

Foundation is the starting point for ITIL Practice Manager, Managing Professional, Strategic Leader, Transformation and the AI Governance extension module.
