I liked reading this right after the intro to IFS book by the same author since the intro gave me a good foundation. But this book stands on its own and Schwarz gives enough info on the general approach to help the novice reader get acquainted with the main premises. This one goes into more depth with some useful exercises that are provided in a helpful sequence.
